You’re Not Far Away

The biggest lies you will hear whispered in your ear is,

“You’re far away.”

“You’re all alone.”

“You’ll never do anything to be worthy of love.”

Lies.

From the enemy of your soul.

Don’t you listen to a single one.

He whispers them in fear, because he knows, my dear,

The potential and power that is inside.

You are not far away from Me.

That is impossible.

I am closer than your very breath.

I am living, breathing inside of you.

My promises are always kept.

You will never be alone,

I promised I’d never leave.

You can run as far as you’d like, But when you turn around, you’ll still see Me.

And worthy of love? 

You don’t know the half of it.

I sent my Son to die for you so I could have this relationship.

With you.

Yes, you.

I gave up that which was most precious for you, My love.

That is how worthy you are.

Worthy enough for a gruesome death. 

Worthy enough that while I took My last breath—you were in My heart. 

Your face was in My mind’s eye.

I endured the worst.

Took on all the pain.

Felt rejected, forsaken and alone,

So you would NEVER have to feel that way again.

So look up, my dear, 

I am ALWAYS here.

I am ALWAYS near.

I carry you in My heart every day.

I died to have one thing—your heart.

Won’t you let Me have it all today?

Won’t you let Me love you whole again?

Every piece.

I paid a great price to have it all. 

And I’d do it again if you were the only one.
