Why ask Me to come where I already am?
I Am that I Am.
Ever present.
Always.
I always was and always will be.
I Am ever present in a time of trouble.
Why do you say, "Come!"?
I have already come.
I have already done the work.
It is finished!
I call YOU to come.
To move.
To draw close.
To press in.
I call YOU into action!
No more laying around lazily in your comfortable places asking Me to come and do for you.
You have been equipped with power on high!!
Engage that power!
Move!
Move toward Me!
Move FOR Me!
Move IN Me!
That's where you live, move and have your being! In Me!
Are you tired and worn out?
Don't quit.
Come to Me.
I will give you rest.
My burden is light and easy.
I call to you every day to come and lay down your burdens but you insist on carrying them alone.
When you're tired you yell out, "Lord! Come! Help me!" When all the while I am here. I am waiting for you to come and lay them down. To lay yourself down. To come, follow Me.
You see, I have already come to where you are.
I put on flesh and conquered death. I have showed you how to walk, how to navigate, how to do it.
I came to you so you could come to Me.
So come.
Draw near.
Press in.
It is a press to keep moving toward Me. To keep pushing your boundaries of comfort. But I did not call you to be comfortable, I have called you into action for such a time as this!
Keep moving!
Keep pressing!
Past the distractions of this world.
Past fear.
Past selfish ambition.
Past comfort.
Past understanding.
Past pain.
Don't become stagnant, idle, stale, rusty, unusable, or unmovable.
Come to Me.
Don't you see? I withhold nothing from you. I've given it all freely to you.
Come.
Receive what I've freely given by freely giving what you have.
It's an exchange.
All you have for all I have.
I assure you, you have the better end of the deal.
All I am for all you have.
But you must give it freely. Lay it all down.
Your hopes, your hurts, your dreams, your fears, your failures, your successes.
Lay it ALL down.
It's an emptying of self, you see.
I take it all, the good and the seemingly bad.
I take it ALL and give you Myself in exchange. All that I have is yours.
The choice is yours.
Do it all yourself or come to Me.
There is no halfway or in between.
It is all or nothing.
You can't hold back parts of yourself. I withheld nothing.
I gave it all for you.
I gave extravagantly.
That is what love does.
I ask the same in return.
All of you for all of me.
Release the secret places of your heart to Me.
Trust Me to give you a new, clean heart.
Come to Me.
Lay it all down at My feet.
Daily surrender is what I ask.
I can only fill empty and willing vessels.
And, oh! I will fill you! And fill you! And fill you!!
To overflowing!
Spilling over!
